Dear Friends,
Yesterday's Friendsgiving at the Sanibel Community House was a wonderful time for residents to give each other hugs, stay connected and thank the emergency responders and workers who are helping to bring back our beloved island. Our Thanksgiving Day service is tomorrow, Thursday, November 24 at Peace Lutheran at 10am. It will be livestreamed and you can click
here to watch it if you are not in town.
More than 35 volunteers with the Gladiolus Food Pantry spent the entire day on Saturday providing the fixings for a Thanksgiving dinner to neighbors needing a little help. They provided 946 turkeys and the trimmings to struggling families to help make their Thanksgiving a happy occasion.
A reminder that you can view the recording of Monday's all parish zoom meeting and the presentation slides on our website; https://www.saintmichaels-sanibel.org/hurricane-ian I encourage you to check out our Christian Formation series Preparing for the Present that begins next Tuesday with a zoom with an insurance professional.
