All Angels Campaign Achieves Initial Financial Goal!
 
In just 22 days from the launch of our All Angels Campaign, collectively we have achieved our fund raising campaign goal of $2 million! This will enable us to restore the structures of our shared spiritual home. 
 
The generosity and speed with which we have come together has been nothing short of a miraculous outpouring of our love for one another, our community, and God. How remarkable to see something accomplished that none of us could have ever done alone.

* The $2M All Angels Campaign goal covers the gap to restore our structures. Additional funds, should they be available, would be to replace contents like cabinets, landscaping, etc. 

Our Second Goal- For ALL Angels To Be A Part Of The Campaign
 
 As you recall we launched this campaign with the spiritual objective of having ALL angels participate in this historic restoration of our shared home. We realize that there are still some of you who have needed to thoughtfully and prayerfully pause before responding. 
And we are holding to that goal for two reasons. First we do desire for all to be all. If you are part of St. Michael’s you are equally valued, loved and belong, so actively participating in the restoration will signify you are vested, you are part of creating this historic, spiritual legacy. Your participation spiritually matters to us and we believe it will to you as well.
 

Provide Our Home with Essentials to Function Fully
 
Practically speaking, the $2 million will pay for restoring our structures. Below are a few of the things that can be obtained with additional funds:

  • A Bus: to help those who cannot drive gather with us in person.
  • Furnishing the kitchen
  • Landscaping: to create a welcoming and inviting atmosphere.
  • Items for the Music Program

Hope Rising Update #72

Today's Excitement Dear Friends, Today was a day to celebrate! LCEC trucks arrived to install the new meter and energize it so the new HVAC system in the sanctuary can be started up! Then a couple hours later, we passed the City of Sanibel final inspection and we were given the Certificate of Completion; the final step in our permit process which started last May. We are very grateful to Councilwoman Holly Smith, City Manager Dana Souza and all the city and LCEC employees who assisted in these final steps and of course to all the FP workers and their subs for all their hard work these past several months and the Property Restoration Team; the working group was there to receive the good news today. We are very busy getting the spaces ready for opening weekend starting with our 4th Advent services this Saturday at 5pm and Sunday at 8am and 10:30am (livestreamed). Then we will have 3 Christmas Services at 4pm, 8pm (livestreamed) and 10:30am. Thanks to the volunteer teams who have been washing dishes in the kitchen, putting books on the bookshelf, hanging wreaths and a 100 other details. It is a stunningly beautiful space and we can't wait for all to experience it again for the first time in 15 months! Bill +
